Job summary

Providence Napa is seeking a Cardiac Device Technician to support a busy outpatient device clinic, performing device interrogations and remote monitoring under physician supervision.

You will work closely with device clinic RNs and physicians, coordinating care for pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders while ensuring compliance with certification and BLS requirements. This is an on-site role with competitive base pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health or science required or equivalent experience.
• National certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCDI) or IBHRE credentials.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• At least 2 years of healthcare or cardiac patient assessment experience.

Responsibilities

• Interrogate and assess implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers, defibrillators, loop recorders).
• Manage remote transmissions and coordinate with device clinic RN staff.
• Work under physician supervision and report to Nursing supervisor or Clinic Administrator.
• Collaborate with physicians, mid-levels, and clinic staff to ensure accurate, efficient device clinic operations.
