Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise or Health Science or 5 years of related experience.
• Certifications required upon hire as listed in qualifications.
• 1 year of experience in cardiac services is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform device interrogations, interpretations and programming of Pacemakers, ICDs, Loop Recorders, and home monitor equipment.
• Process patient data with clinical judgment and educate patients on cardiac care, medications, risks and procedures.
• Identify emergencies and make clinical decisions under physician protocol; manage test terminations as needed.
• Escort rooming patients and provide care as directed by a provider.

Formation

Bachelor's Degree in Exercise or Health Science

5 years of experience in cardiac telemetry, electrocardiogram, electrophysiology tech, monitor tech, device industry, or device monitoring

National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International

National Certified Cardiac Device Specialist from the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners

National Cardiac Device Remote Monitoring Specialist from the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners

National Certified Electrophysiology Specialist from the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners

National Clinical Exercise Physiologist from the American College of Sports Medicine

National Certified EKG Technician from the National Health career Association

National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association

National Provider ACLS from the American Heart Association
