Job summary

Lumicera Health Services, powered by Navitus, is expanding its Prior Authorization team and seeks a Specialist III to support and lead daily operations. This role focuses on effective task assignment, complex problem solving, and coaching to ensure patient and provider needs are met.

The position offers a collaborative environment, compliance emphasis, and opportunities for professional growth with multiple tools and platforms such as RxVector, NCRX, and Cover My Meds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required per state requirements.
• 2+ years pharmacy support experience or healthcare environment experience required.
• Participation in, adherence to, and support of compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a dynamic team environment for the Prior Authorization team that is engaging, supportive, positive and forward thinking.
• Communicate effectively with the prior authorization team to assign daily tasks, provide guidance in complex problem-solving scenarios, and drive accountability on overall team KPI goals.
• Serve as a trainer for new and existing Prior Authorization Specialists on core responsibilities to fulfill patient and provider needs related to prior authorizations (RxVector, NCRX, Lighthouse, Banjo, Cover My Meds, phone platforms).
• Identify and present opportunities for workflow and process improvement to direct supervisor and Lumicera leadership.
• Provide daily support for new and established associates, ensuring understanding of new protocols and workflows and answering day-to-day operations questions.
• Assist in prior authorization workflow as needed with phones and work queues related to patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in and support compliance and diversity, equity, and inclusion program objectives.
• Other duties as assigned
