Job summary

Lumicera Health Partners is seeking a Specialist III, Prior Authorization to coordinate and lead the Prior Authorization team. The role focuses on optimizing workflows, coaching teammates, and ensuring quality outcomes for providers and patients.

You will train staff on key tools such as RxVector, NCRX, Lighthouse, Banjo and Cover My Meds, while collaborating with healthcare professionals to triage prior authorizations and resolve escalations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required per state where employed.
• 2+ years pharmacy support or healthcare experience required.
• Participation in, adherence to, and support of compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct day-to-day operations of the Prior Authorization team.
• Lead by example with subject matter expertise and coaching for teammates.
• Train and mentor Prior Authorization Specialists on core responsibilities and tools.
• Identify and present workflow and process improvement opportunities to leadership.
• Provide daily support to new and established associates on new protocols and day-to-day questions.
• Assist with prior authorization workflow and triage for patients, prescribers, and providers.
• Support compliance and DEI program objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
