Lumicera is seeking a Specialist III, Prior Authorization to lead the Prior Authorization team and ensure efficient triage for patients and providers. You will coach staff, train new specialists, and drive improvements across workflows and systems to meet performance metrics.

The role emphasizes collaboration with providers, insurance companies, and internal teams, offering opportunities to mentor peers and implement best practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required per state requirements.
• 2+ years pharmacy support or healthcare experience.
• Participate in compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a dynamic team environment for the Prior Authorization team.
• Assign daily tasks and drive accountability for KPIs.
• Train new and existing specialists on core responsibilities and systems.
• Identify and present workflow improvement opportunities to leadership.
• Provide daily support and disseminate new protocols and information.
• Assist in prioritization and triage of prior authorizations.
• Support compliance and diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.
