Job summary

Lumicera is expanding and seeks a Specialist III, Prior Authorization to coordinate day-to-day operations of the Prior Authorization team. You will lead by example, coach teammates, and work with providers and insurers to triage prior authorizations, ensuring best outcomes for patients and teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• National CPhT certification and/or registration/licensure as per state requirements.
• 2+ years pharmacy support or healthcare experience.
• Must participate in and support compliance programs.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train the Prior Authorization team to meet KPI goals.
• Assign daily tasks and guide complex problem-solving for team members.
• Serve as a trainer for new and existing Specialists on core responsibilities (RxVector, NCRX, Lighthouse, Banjo, Cover My Meds).
• Identify workflow and process improvement opportunities for Lumicera leadership.
• Provide daily support and disseminate new protocols and information to the team.
• Assist in prior authorization workflow and manage queues for patients and prescribers.
• Support compliance and DEI program objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
