Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a qualified Scheduler to support LAUSD-related scheduling efforts. The role focuses on reviewing contractor P6 baselines, analyzing critical paths, and ensuring schedule integrity across multiple school projects.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of full-time scheduling experience, strong communication, and the ability to interpret architectural plans. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Three years of full-time professional scheduling experience for an Owner/GC, preferably on educational or public works projects.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specs to determine scope of work for multiple school projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Experience building working relationships with project teams and staff.

Responsibilities

• Review Contractor P6 baseline schedules and identify missing scope, logic, or milestones and analyze critical paths.
• Review monthly updates and document milestone slippage and critical path changes with written comments.
• Create filters, layouts, and charts in P6 to aid analysis of critical path issues.
• QA/QC contractor schedules for conformance with contract scope and scheduling guidelines.
• Ensure use of program-wide codes, layouts, and reports for data integrity.
• Prepare Earned Value curves per LAUSD EVA templates and assist management with reporting.
