Job summary

SERVPRO Team Shaw is seeking a General Manager to own market performance across mitigation, reconstruction, and contents with full P&L responsibility. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive revenue growth, manage margins, and coordinate project managers, construction managers, and field crews.

The ideal candidate reads a P&L, fixes margins, and develops people while delivering operational excellence in a fast-growing restoration and construction environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in restoration, construction, or property services, including at least 3 years in a senior management role.
• Demonstrated ownership of a P&L or business unit budget.
• Experience overseeing restoration/mitigation and construction operations.
• Strong leadership and people-development skills.
• Ability to travel across locations as needed.
• Proficiency with job-tracking/production software and MS Office.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Own full P&L for the market and deliver against budget monthly.
• Build and manage the annual operating budget and rolling forecasts.
• Monitor job costing, labor and material spend, subcontractor costs, and margin by service line.
• Manage working capital: AR, collections, WIP, and close-out timelines.
• Approve purchases, subcontractor agreements, change orders within authority levels.
• Analyze financial and production reports and present updates to executives.
• Oversee operations across water, fire, contents, and reconstruction, ensuring safety and standards.
• Direct the construction/reconstruction division: estimating, scoping, permitting, subs, scheduling, QC, and warranty.
• Build and manage subcontractor base and scorecards.
• Handoff mitigation to reconstruction to protect cycle time, margin, and customer experience.
• Staffing: labor across production and construction; crew assignments.
• Scheduling across all active jobs; balance resources.
• Monitor cycle time and WIP; resolve bottlenecks.
• Review and approve job files/estimates (Xactimate/Xactanalysis) for accuracy.
• Oversee equipment, vehicles, and inventory; coordinate with Facilities and Fleet.
• Ensure safety compliance (OSHA, codes) and documentation systems (WorkCenter, DryBook).
