Job summary

SERVPRO Team Shaw is seeking an Operations Manager to lead restoration production across our Houston market. You will oversee mitigation across water, fire, and reconstruction lines, manage labor, scheduling, and margins, and coach Project Managers and crews to consistently meet safety, quality, and customer targets.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and hands-on experience in field services.

Qualifications

3–5+ years in restoration, construction, or property management with supervisory experience.
Proven track record managing labor, COGS, or P&L in field services or construction.
Strong leadership and ability to develop teams of Project Managers or supervisors.
Experience with production scheduling and job costing.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Willingness to travel across market locations and work on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

Oversee mitigation operations across water, fire, and reconstruction services.
Manage labor, staffing levels, crew assignments, and workload distribution.
Own COGS: monitor costs, equipment utilization, and margins vs. budget.
Build and manage production scheduling across active jobs.
Set KPIs, review performance, and drive improvement initiatives.
Lead training and career development for Project Managers and technicians.
Coordinate with General Manager, sales, and claims teams on capacity and commitments.
Review job files, estimates, and ensure accuracy in documentation.
Ensure safety compliance with OSHA and SERVPRO systems.
Recruit, interview, and onboard production staff as the team grows.
