Job summary

Brown & Brown seeks a Property & Casualty Sales Account Executive to join our Dedham, MA-area team. This role focuses on renewing an established book of business and maintaining exceptional client relationships while exploring opportunities to expand coverage with current clients.

Reporting to the Profit Center Leader or Sales leader, you will develop renewal proposals, present them to prospects, and coordinate with the service team to ensure client satisfaction and carrier compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Excellent telephone demeanor.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• 2+ years in an insurance agency or carrier including sales.
• Strong industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain currency and develop expertise in declared sector or market area by networking and professional development.
• Work with Commercial Lines Team for renewals, proposals, RFPs etc. with a clear plan.
• Develop, present and sell renewal business proposals to prospects.
• Gather information and develop, deliver and sell renewal proposals.
• Comply with agency account quality and size standards.
• Perform periodic service calls and coordinate customer service requests.
• Conduct client coverage reviews and determine insurance needs per state rules.
• Sell additional coverage to existing clients.
• In conjunction with service team, manage ICR process.
• Attend and participate in regular sales meetings.
• Support agency relationships with company representatives.
