Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Property & Casualty Sales Account Executive to join our growing team. This position can be located in Dedham, Boston, Merrimack or Holbrook offices and focuses on renewals and maintaining exceptional client relationships.

You will develop renewal proposals, gather information, coordinate with the service team, and negotiate with carriers. A valid Insurance Producer license and 2+ years in an insurance agency are expected; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience in the field.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Exceptional telephone demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• 2+ years experience in an insurance agency or carrier including sales experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop, present and sell renewal business proposals to appropriate prospects.
• Gather information and develop, deliver and sell renewal proposals.
• Comply with account quality and size standards established by the agency.
• Perform periodic service calls on all accounts and coordinate customer service requests.
• Conduct client coverage reviews and determine insurance needs based on current requirements and carrier rulings.
• Sell additional coverage to existing clients.
• Assist marketing in quotations and placement with carriers.
• Attend and participate in regular sales meetings.
• Build strong relationships with company representatives.
