Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Property & Casualty Sales Account Executive to join our growing team in Merrimack. This role focuses on renewing an established book, maintaining exceptional client relationships, and driving renewal proposals with the Commercial Lines Team.

You will gather information, deliver renewal proposals, and sell additional coverage while ensuring compliance with agency standards and state regulations. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite and related tools.
• Exceptional telephone demeanor and confidentiality.
• 2+ years experience in an insurance agency or carrier including sales.
• Strong technical knowledge of the industry targeted.
• This role may require routine or periodic travel and driving a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain currency and further develop expertise in declared market area by networking and professional development.
• Collaborate with Commercial Lines Team for renewals, proposals, and RFPs with action notes.
• Develop, present and sell renewal business proposals to prospects.
• Gather information and deliver renewal proposals to clients.
• Ensure accounts meet agency quality and size standards.
• Perform periodic service calls and coordinate client requests.
• Conduct coverage reviews and determine needs based on sound principles and carrier rulings.
• Sell additional coverage to existing clients.
• Coordinate with the service team on ICR processes.
• Attend and participate in regular sales meetings.
