Alera Group is seeking a Property & Casualty Regional Practice Leader to guide regional P&C strategy and partner with offices, leadership, and carriers to drive growth and alignment.

The role requires deep P&C expertise, strong relationships, and the ability to lead through influence in a multi-office environment. Remote East Coast placement with up to 20% travel supports national initiatives and market expansion.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive Property & Casualty experience with brokers, carriers, or consultancies.
• Deep knowledge of P&C markets, coverage and underwriting practices.
• Experience guiding complex placements, market strategy, or business development.
• Strong carrier relationships and ability to influence across leaders.
• Proven ability to operate effectively across a multi-office organization.
• Executive presence and strong communication skills; travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior P&C technical and market resource for leaders, producers, and service teams.
• Provide guidance on placements, renewals, coverage strategies, and risk solutions.
• Build strategic carrier and wholesale relationships; align regional and national strategies.
• Partner with leadership on prospects, renewals, at-risk accounts, and growth.
• Share market intelligence, underwriting trends, and emerging risks.
• Connect regional teams with expertise and resources across Alera Group.
• Support adoption of national P&C initiatives, tools, and best practices.
• Promote collaboration across offices and integrate newly acquired businesses.
• Bridge regional offices with National P&C Leadership to surface opportunities.
