Job summary

Odegaard Writing and Research Center (OWRC) seeks a detail-oriented Program Manager to oversee daily operations, supervise student staff, and coordinate hiring, programs, and assessment for UW-Seattle. The role reports to the Director and supports OWRC services campus-wide.

The position is in-person (M-F, 9am-5:30pm) in the Odegaard Undergraduate Library with potential hybrid work for breaks between quarters or other conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in student services.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily center operations including tutoring sessions, workshops, and staff needs.
• Oversees scheduling procedures and maintains accuracy and updates.
• Manages HR functions for student employees, payroll, contracts, and timesheets.
• Supports marketing, outreach, and website content accuracy.
• Leads staff meetings, training, and professional development.
• Coordinates quarterly workshop programs and external tutor-led workshops.
