Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Project Engineer to join our client in Toledo, OH, as the single-point Owner’s Representative for the marine dock and terminal scope. The role covers project definition through detailed engineering, construction, commissioning and startup.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in owner’s engineering or refinery/marine terminals, with experience in vapor destruction units and dock systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in owner’s engineering or project engineering roles.
• Direct experience with marine terminals, docks, and loading facilities.
• Experience with regulatory interfaces and quality control during project execution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single-point Owner’s Representative for the GLX marine dock and terminal scope.
• Review FEL/FEED, detailed design, estimates, schedules, and contractor deliverables.
• Coordinate interfaces across marine, civil, piping, mechanical, electrical, and controls.
• Lead constructability, operability, and startup-readiness reviews.
• Monitor scope, cost, schedule, risk, and contractor execution; provide leadership updates.
