Job summary

Airswift seeks an seasoned professional for Great Lakes Marine Dock (Owners Rep) in Toledo, OH. The role spans project definition, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning and startup with focus on safety, reliability, cost, schedule and operability.

You will oversee hydrocarbon docks, product-transfer systems, brownfield revamps and contractor oversight across engineering, construction and operations during all phases of the project.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in owners engineering, project engineering, refinery offsites, marine terminals, ports, or waterfront infrastructure.
• Direct experience with hydrocarbon docks, product-transfer systems, loading facilities, brownfield revamps, and contractor oversight.
• Demonstrated experience supporting construction, commissioning, turnover, and startup activities.
• Experience overseeing refinery-to-dock interfaces across engineering, construction, and operational phases.
• Experience with marine-dock vapor destruction units, including design review, installation, commissioning, and startup.
• Experience adding flush tanks and associated dock systems, including piping, controls, utilities, drainage, and operating interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate FEL, FEED, detailed design, estimates, schedules, execution plans, and contractor deliverables.
• Coordinate marine, civil and structural, piping, mechanical, electrical, controls, operations, maintenance, environmental, regulatory, and commercial interfaces.
• Lead constructability, operability, maintainability, marine access, product-transfer, QA/QC, and startup-readiness reviews.
• Monitor scope, cost, schedule, risk, change management, field quality, and contractor execution with clear recommendations to project leadership.
