Colliers Project Leaders in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Project Manager-Owner's Rep to lead owner’s representation across commercial, education and institutional projects. You will be on-site five days a week, guiding design, construction and closeout to meet client goals.

The role requires 5+ years in construction/architecture, strong PM and client-relations skills, and knowledge of permits, zoning, and build codes. Compensation ranges from $85k to $125k annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical/architecture or construction management.
• 5+ years in building design/construction, architecture, or engineering.
• Experience as Owner's Rep preferred.
• Experience with permits and zoning laws preferred.
• Knowledge of construction methods, PM models, financial management, codes and law.
• Ability to read/write English for job communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent complex construction projects from start to finish.
• Build strong client relationships and coordinate the project team.
• Understand PM process; manage architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Ensure client goals within budget and schedule.
• Identify and mitigate scheduling, logistics, cost, quality issues; negotiate changes.
• Review project documents, budgets, schedules, contracts for conformance.
• Develop monthly reports, budgets, schedules, minutes, and logs.
• Oversee and manage staff performance and deliverables.
