Job summary

REMS is seeking a Project Manager (Independent Contractor) to lead commercial real estate construction projects from pre-development through closeout, serving as the Owner’s Representative.

You will manage project teams, consultants, and contractors, ensuring alignment with client goals, contract requirements, and REMS standards, while operating autonomously and communicating transparently across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience providing commercial construction project management or Owner’s Representative services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Owner’s Representative, advocating for the client’s best interests while advancing their vision.
• Lead assigned projects from pre-development through construction and closeout.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Provide transparent, proactive communication to maintain trust and alignment.
