Madison Communities in Charlotte, NC is seeking a proactive Development Manager to support our ground-up multifamily projects as an owner-side representative, coordinating with general contractors, design teams, and stakeholders.

You will own document control, track milestones, manage budgets, and drive cost controls. This role demands 5–8+ years of construction experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field. We offer strong benefits and a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in construction or related field.
• Experience as owner’s representative or development-led roles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost controls and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day project execution across ground-up multifamily development.
• Coordinate with GCs, vendors, design teams, and consultants.
• Bridge Development and GC with clear accountability for items.
• Own document control: drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs, minutes.
• Track schedules and critical-path milestones; identify risks.
• Attend meetings and manage turnover, closeout docs.
