Job summary

SelectLeaders Client is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee multifamily development, renovation, ADU, and special projects across its residential portfolio. You will serve as the owner's representative, guiding projects from due diligence through closeout while coordinating with contractors, consultants, and municipal agencies in a dynamic environment.

The role demands strong construction expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects with proactive risk

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management experience in multifamily residential development, ground-up construction, renovation, or special projects.
• Experience working for a real estate owner, developer, construction management firm, or general contractor.
• Proven ability to manage projects from preconstruction through closeout, including budgeting and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the owner's representative for multifamily ground-up development, renovations, ADUs, unit conversions, and other special construction initiatives.
• Lead projects from due diligence through permitting, construction, inspections, turnover, and closeout.
• Coordinate permitting, inspections, approvals, and requirements with local planning and building departments, utilities, and municipal agencies.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and change orders to maintain financial control and project accountability.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure work meets plans, specs, quality standards, safety requirements, and milestones.
