Job summary

Compass Development is seeking a highly organized Project Manager to lead design, construction, infrastructure, and facility work for clients. This owner’s-representative role coordinates consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver capital projects.

The initial assignment is dynamic and multi-project, with room to shape controls, communication rhythms, and decision-making structures. Travel up to 50% and work across office, field, and remote teams.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years experience managing construction, design, infrastructure, or other capital projects.
• Experience leading complex projects with multiple consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Proven ability managing detailed schedules, budgets, procurement logs, and executive reporting.
• Working knowledge of design/construction workflows, contracts, RFQs/RFPs, submittals, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead owner-side capital project workstreams from planning through closeout.
• Align scope, budget, schedule, quality, risk, and business objectives for clients.
• Maintain integrated master schedules connecting milestones and critical-path constraints.
• Establish and maintain project and program cost controls and forecasting.
• Review contracts, invoices, change orders, and ensure conformance.
• Monitor field progress, quality, budget, and schedule via site visits and meetings.
• Prepare proactive client and executive reporting with recommendations.
