Job summary

HDR is seeking a Construction Project Representative in California to support construction administration, document control, and project coordination across the Owner's team. You will attend meetings, draft and distribute minutes, and help manage look-ahead schedules and reporting.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction technology, multidisciplinary project experience, and strong communication skills. HDR offers an employee‑owned culture and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Demonstrated construction experience on multidisciplinary projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Primavera, and related construction packages.
• Visa sponsorship not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Owner in construction administration activities per contract requirements.
• Intake, review, log, and track RFIs and submittals for compliance.
• Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and track action items.
• Coordinate look-ahead schedules and monitor planned vs actual activities.
• Support dispute research, fact-finding, and documentation.
• Maintain project records and assist in monthly reports and dashboards.
