Job summary

HDR is seeking a Construction Project Representative in Los Angeles to support the Owner with construction administration, contract compliance, and document control. You will manage RFIs, submittals, change items, and meeting support for timely project delivery.

You will prepare reports, track look-ahead schedules, and coordinate with design teams, utility companies, and inspectors. A relevant degree and proficiency with Unifier/Primavera are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Owner in construction administration activities per contract and procedures.
• Intake, review, log, and track RFIs, submittals, and changes for contractual compliance.
• Identify distribution lists and route documents for review by stakeholders.
• Maintain project records, logs, and correspondence in approved systems.
• Prepare meeting minutes and track action items to closure.
• Coordinate with third-party stakeholders including utilities, labs, surveyors, and inspectors.
