Job summary

Havtech in Columbia, MD is seeking an Owner Direct Equipment Sales Engineer to drive long-term relationships with owner accounts and maximize account penetration through innovative HVAC solutions.

You will lead proposal development, pricing, and coordination with operations, estimators, and customers, traveling as needed to client sites and collaborating with a team to deliver complete HVAC projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction or Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Excellent customer relations skills.
• Marketing and market planning knowledge.
• HVAC industry knowledge.
• Willingness to travel at least 20% of the time.
• Ability to function independently and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Identify key customers and grow identified accounts.
• Develop and present proposals; negotiate price and terms with customers.
• Coordinate with estimators and Owners on specifications and proposals.
• Provide HVAC system-related solutions and develop project plans.
