Job summary

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations and Part 135 operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan flights and obtain information regarding weather, procedures and instructions.
• Ensure proper preparation of flight plans considering altitude, terrain, weather, range, weight, and navigational aids.
• Release flights in accordance with FAR 135 and ensure all documentation is aboard.
• Conduct preflight inspections and risk assessments for each flight.
• Brief crew on changes and maintain CRM.
• Coordinate with on-site management regarding safety and maintenance.
• Maintain readiness for 48-hour deployment and varied OCONUS tasks.
