Job summary

YMCA of Greater Seattle is seeking an Overnight Case Manager to support low-income youth and young adults on a pathway to independent living within our longest-running transitional housing program.

You will coordinate education, job readiness, housing, and life-skills support, building strong community relationships and offering extensive information and referral services. A welcoming YMCA environment awaits you.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or related field; Masters preferred.
• Experience with teens or young adults in employment, foster care, housing or education.
• Ability to teach independence skills and plan supportive activities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proof of Vehicle Insurance or ability to travel to community locations.
• First Aid and CPR certification are required.
• Knowledge of diverse populations welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Remain awake and engaged during overnight shift.
• Respond to participant emergencies or needs during shift.
• Provide specialized services in education, employment, housing or related fields.
• Build relationships and develop individualized service plans.
• Maintain documentation in designated databases.
• Teach life skills and job readiness.
• Collaborate with YMCA staff and community partners.
• Support housing stability, education and employment goals.
• Participate in fundraising campaigns.
