Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Seattle is seeking a dedicated Case Manager within the Social Impact Center to support low-income youth and young adults in education, job readiness, housing, and related services across King and Pierce counties. You will build relationships, create strengths-based plans, and facilitate access to resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or related social services field or equivalent experience; Masters preferred.
• Experience with teens/young adults in employment, foster care, housing, education, juvenile justice, anti-poverty, vocational support, mental health or homelessness fields.
• Ability to teach independence skills for various learning styles.
• Strong youth engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to transport self and client(s) with proof of vehicle insurance; travel to community sites.
• First Aid and CPR certification (state approved).
• HIV bloodborne pathogens training (state approved).
• Knowledge of diverse populations; language skills helpful.
• Some positions require Bachelor's degree or higher; within 30 days of employment/training.
• Within 30 days of employment or first available training.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized services to youth/young adults in education, employment/career development, housing, technology, or other fields.
• Develop individualized, strengths-based service plans with participants.
• Ensure program outcomes per contract/grant terms and document appropriately.
• Research best practices; maintain resource library.
• Maintain clear participant notes, plans, progress, and outcomes in databases.
• Teach life skills and job readiness, individually or in groups.
• Collaborate with YMCA staff and community partners to plan activities.
• Build relationships with funding liaisons and service providers.
• Support participant success in housing stability, connections, education, employment, health, and well-being.
• Assist with program coordination and job-focused activities.
• Participate in YMCA annual fundraising campaigns.
