Job summary

YMCA of Greater Seattle is seeking a Lead Overnight Case Manager for Arcadia Services to supervise overnight shelter operations and provide direct case management for youth and young adults. The Lead will maintain a caseload, guide Case Managers, and ensure a safe, organized, and responsive overnight environment.

The role requires overnight schedule flexibility, a relevant degree, and experience in youth services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; master’s preferred for leadership role.
• Experience in case management, social services, behavioral health, homelessness or youth services.
• Ability to work overnight and lead a team with trauma-informed approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an assigned caseload and provide ongoing case management for youth and young adults.
• Complete documentation, assessments, service plans, referrals, and follow-up.
• Conduct weekly peer check-ins with Case Managers to coordinate services.
• Provide guidance and support to Case Managers during overnight operations.
• Oversee overnight shelter operations ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.
• Respond effectively to crisis, safety and participant needs.
• Ensure policies and program expectations are followed; support conflict de-escalation.
• Assist with accessing community resources and referrals.
• Communicate concerns to leadership and complete shift notes and incident reports.
• Perform shift handoffs and assist with staff coverage and program requirements.
