Job summary

YMCA of Greater Seattle is seeking a Daytime Case Manager for the Y Social Impact Center, our longest-running transitional housing program for low-income youth and young adults. You will support participants in education, job readiness, housing, and related areas, building relationships and providing information and referrals in a welcoming, supportive environment.

This facility-based, on-site role requires daytime hours and is not eligible for remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with teens or young adults in employment, foster care, housing, education, juvenile justice, anti-poverty, vocational support, mental health, chemical dependency and/or homelessness fields.
• Ability to transport self and client(s) in a safe and effective manner; reliable vehicle insurance required.
• Current state approved First Aid and CPR certification.
• Current HIV blood borne pathogens training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides specialized services to youth and young adults in education, employment/career development, housing, technology, or other designated field.
• Develops individualized, strengths-based, youth-driven service plans.
• Maintains participant contact notes, service plans, progress updates, and outcomes in designated databases.
• Teaches life skills and job readiness individually and in groups.
• Collaborates with YMCA staff and partners to plan activities and connect to community resources.
• Supports participant success in housing, education, employment, health and well-being.
