Job summary

The Seattle YMCA is seeking a Daytime Case Manager for its Transitional Housing program serving low-income youth and young adults. You will support education, employment, housing, and life skills while building collaborative community relationships and providing extensive information and referral services.

This facility-based role requires on-site presence during scheduled shift hours, with no remote work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in psychology, social work, or related field.
• Experience with teens or young adults in employment, housing, education, or related fields.
• Ability to teach independence skills and support diverse learning styles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proof of vehicle insurance or ability to travel to community locations.

Responsibilities

• Provides specialized services to youth and young adults in education, employment/career development, housing, technology, or other designated field.
• Builds strong relationships with program participants to effectively provide quality services.
• Develops individualized, strengths-based, youth-driven service plans.
• Ensures program outcomes by understanding contract/grant terms and documenting progress.
• Maintains clear, professional participant contact notes and progress updates in databases.
• Teaches life skills and job readiness, individually or in groups.
