Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities in Lombard, IL is seeking a Wellness Nurse for overnight, part-time shifts (7pm–7am, every other Friday). The role focuses on clinical monitoring, medication administration, and supporting the nursing team to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality care.

Responsibilities include coordinating admissions, delivering care per plans, documenting changes, and communicating with resident physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN).
• Three years' experience in assessment and geriatric nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordination of the resident admission process including screening, assessment, and care needs.
• Ensure care is delivered as indicated in resident care plans.
• Medication and treatment administration and ensure medications are administered per physicians’ orders.
• Assistance with coordinating care and services with other outside providers including resident physicians.
• Document and report care provided and resident observations including unusual or significant changes.
• Maintain a working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures.
