Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC is seeking a Wellness Nurse to support residents’ health with ongoing clinical monitoring. This part-time role offers a 7am-7pm schedule and teamwork with community nurses and caregivers to maintain regulatory compliance and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities include admission screening, care plan delivery, medication administration, coordination with physicians, and documenting resident changes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN).
• Three years' experience in assessment and geriatric nursing, preferred.
• Knowledge of state regulations and policies for compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in admission screening, assessment, and care needs.
• Ensure care delivered per resident care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Coordinate care with outside providers including resident physicians.
• Document care provided and resident observations of significant changes.
• Maintain knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures.
