Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC is seeking a Part-Time Wellness Nurse to support residents' health through ongoing clinical monitoring and collaboration with nurses, caregivers, and medication personnel. You will help ensure regulatory compliance and clinical excellence while maintaining a warm, team-focused approach.

Your responsibilities include coordinating admissions, ensuring care per plans, administering medications, coordinating with physicians and outside providers, and documenting

Qualifications

• Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN).
• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Three (3) years' experience in assessment and geriatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordination of the resident admission process including screening, assessment, and care needs.
• Ensure care is delivered as indicated in resident care plans.
• Medication and treatment administration and ensure medications are administered per physicians' orders.
• Assist with coordinating care and services with other outside providers including resident physicians.
• Document and report care provided and resident observations including unusual or significant changes.
• Maintain a working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures.
