Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN).
• Three years of experience in geriatric nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of state regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist admission process including screening, assessment, and care needs.
• Deliver care per resident care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders.
• Coordinate care with external providers including physicians.
• Document care and observations, noting significant changes.
• Maintain knowledge of state regulations and procedures.
