Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Part-Time Wellness Nurse in Lombard, IL, overnight 7pm–7am (every other Friday) to support resident health and regulatory compliance. The role involves clinical monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration with nurses and caregivers to deliver high-quality care.

Qualified candidates will have graduated from an accredited school of practical nursing and hold an active LPN or RN license.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN).
• Three years' experience in assessment and geriatric nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in resident admission process including screening and care needs
• Ensure care is delivered as indicated in resident care plans
• Medication and treatment administration per physicians' orders
• Coordinate care with outside providers including resident physicians
• Document and report care provided and resident observations
• Maintain knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures
