Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations at the store level. You will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators while managing the daily freight schedule to meet customer and inventory needs.

The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with Windows-based systems. Extended hours during peak seasons are expected.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Oversee storage, transactions, and staging of products.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs with maintenance.
• Enforce warehouse safety programs and SOPs for a safe workplace.
• Train associates and manage disciplinary processes as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize operations.
• Generate activity reports for management.
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, and receiving reports.
• Ensure products are staged and stored properly to maximize space.
• Oversee inventory rotation and related processes.
