Job summary

Floor & Decor in Orlando, FL is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations and supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators. Responsible for daily freight scheduling aligned with customer and inventory needs.

You will manage staffing, safety programs, and ensure efficient shipping/receiving, inventory control, and orderly product staging across stores. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Excellent interpersonal and team-building abilities.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to coordinate with other departments and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety programs and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs.
• Implement and monitor warehouse safety programs.
• Ensure staff follow standard operating procedures.
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve problems.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize warehouse operations.
• Provide management with activity reports.
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, and receiver reports.
• Oversee Storage Buy Audit COP execution.
• Ensure proper product staging and storage.
• Oversee inventory rotation.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
