Job summary

Floor & Decor in Fern Park, FL is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to lead the store's warehouse operations and supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators. You will manage daily freight scheduling based on customer and inventory needs.

The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with extended hours. This is a full-time position with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control, etc.
• Responsible for warehouse aspects related to Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance programs and coordinate repairs.
• Ensure warehouse safety programs comply with OSHA/local regulations and provide safe, clean work environment.
• Ensure associates are trained and follow SOPs.
• Manage progressive disciplinary process to maintain productive labor climate in warehouse operations.
• Handle general employee inquiries and resolve problems.
• Coordinate with other departments to improve warehouse operations
• Complete Activity Reports for management
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist and ensure timely data entry
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports
• Execute Storage Buy Audit COP
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection
• Ensure products are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures
• Oversee inventory rotation
• Perform other related duties as directed by management
