Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct daily warehouse operations. You will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and manage the nightly freight schedule based on customer and inventory needs.

The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse/distribution setting, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency with Windows-based systems. Extended hours may be required during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution
• Strong interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills; ability to work in Windows-based systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities (shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control)
• Manage Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and staging of products
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs with CEM/Operations Manager
• Ensure safe, efficient equipment and adherence to safety programs
• Enforce training and SOP compliance across associates
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve problems
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize warehouse operations
• Complete activity reports for management
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports
• Execute Storage Buy Audit COP and ensure proper product staging for counting/inspection
• Ensure proper storage to conserve space and maintain safety
• Oversee inventory rotation in the warehouse
• Perform other duties as directed by management
