Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations, supervise specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators across stores. You will manage daily freight schedules, staffing, and ensure efficient shipping/receiving processes while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with other departments and maintain relationships.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills and Windows-based systems proficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Availability to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and maintenance.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs.
• Enforce warehouse safety programs per OSHA and internal policies.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Handle inquiries, resolve problems, and coordinate with other departments.
• Prepare activity reports for management and ensure timely data entry.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, and receiver reports.
• Oversee inventory rotation and staging for counting and inspection.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
