Floor & Decor in Buford, GA is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations at the store, overseeing warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators; will manage the daily freight schedule based on customer and inventory needs.

The role requires scheduling personnel, supervising shipping/receiving, ensuring safety compliance, training staff, coordinating with other departments and preparing management reports, with extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience required (warehouse or DC preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to collaborate with other departments across the company.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills with Windows-based systems.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities: shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control, etc.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs with relevant teams.
• Implement and enforce warehouse safety programs and SOPs.
• Train associates and manage disciplinary processes as needed.
• Answer general employee inquiries and coordinate with other departments.
