Job summary

Floor & Decor in Conyers, GA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct daily warehouse operations, supervise specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and support the Receiving Supervisor in scheduling freight. You will oversee shipping/receiving, inventory control, equipment maintenance, safety programs, and training to ensure efficient, safe store logistics.

This role requires 1-3 years supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to work extended hours during peak

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment)
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive programs and coordinate repairs
• Implement warehouse safety programs per OSHA and company policy
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures
• Handle inquiries and resolve problems; coordinate with other departments
• Complete activity reports and monitor paperwork flow through Receiving to Inventory Control
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports
• Execute the Storage Buy Audit COP
• Ensure proper product staging and storage to optimize space
• Oversee inventory rotation and related processes
• Perform other duties as directed by management
