Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. in Sarasota, FL is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct and oversee store warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory control, and equipment maintenance.

You will supervise warehouse staff such as specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, manage daily freight schedules, ensure safety programs, train associates, and coordinate with other departments to keep distribution running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center)
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Strong math calculations and basic computer skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control
• Manage Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and staging of products
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs as needed
• Ensure safety programs and procedures are followed
• Train associates and manage disciplinary processes
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations
• Complete activity reports and monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control
• Oversee inventory rotation and store products safely
