Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to lead store warehouse operations and supervise warehouse staff including specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators. The role manages daily freight schedules to meet customer and inventory needs.

Primary duties include directing shipping/receiving, inventory control, safety programs, training, and cross-department coordination. Requires 1–3 years supervisory experience and strong computer skills in Windows environments.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments
• Effective oral and written communication
• Competent in basic math calculations
• Strong computer skills in Windows-based systems
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines
• Available for extended hours during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities (shipping, receiving, inventory)
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs with maintenance/Operations
• Lead warehouse safety programs and enforce SOPs
• Train associates and manage disciplinary processes
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations
• Prepare activity reports for management
• Ensure accurate paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports
• Execute Storage Buy Audit COP
• Oversee proper product staging and storage to conserve space
• Oversee inventory rotation and related tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
