Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations and supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators. You will manage daily freight scheduling to align with customer and inventory needs.

The role requires 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency with Windows-based systems.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution centers.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Proficient with Windows-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping/receiving.
• Direct daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, and inventory.
• Maintain storage buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs with supervisors.
• Enforce safety programs and OSHA compliance.
• Train associates and manage standard operating procedures.
• Handle inquiries, resolve problems, and coordinate with other departments.
• Prepare activity reports for management and track paperwork flow.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, and receipts.
• Oversee inventory rotation and staging for counting/inspection.
