Job summary

Veteran Pathways of New England in Leominster, MA is seeking a Residential Specialist to support the Emergency Housing and GPD Programs. This full-time, on-site role provides coverage during evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts to maintain a safe, structured environment for Veterans.

You will monitor resident activity, assist with daily routines, complete shift documentation, and communicate needs through the proper channels.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; college coursework in Human Services preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Ability to document accurately and on time.
Background check and clearances required.
Experience with Veterans or human services settings preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor resident activity and behavior to support policies and program expectations.
Provide assistance to residents and maintain professional boundaries.
Collaborate with Case Manager or Facility Coordinator to address resident needs.
Conduct regular rounds to ensure cleanliness, safety, and security of sleeping areas and common spaces.
Document incidents and communicate updates during shift transitions.
Respond to safety concerns and emergencies using established procedures.
