Job summary

Harrington Starr seeks a Trade Operations & Support Analyst for overnight coverage in Jersey City. You will support institutional trading workflows outside standard hours, monitor infrastructure, and serve as the first contact for operational issues.

The role requires 1–5 years in trade support or market operations, familiarity with equity or options trading, and strong analytical skills. A willingness to obtain SIE, with Series 7/57 preferred, is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in trade support, trading operations, market operations, or similar financial markets environment.
• Understanding of equity and/or listed options trading processes.
• Experience in high-volume environments requiring quick, accurate issue handling.
• Experience supporting clients or external stakeholders is desirable.
• SIE is essential; Series 7 & 57 are preferred, but willingness to obtain is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Support client trading activity during overnight, pre-market, and extended hours (3am-12pm ET).
• Monitor trading platforms, systems, and connectivity to identify issues before they affect clients.
• Investigate and resolve trade-related, operational, and connectivity issues; escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with trading, technology, operations, clearing, implementation, and client coverage teams.
• Maintain records of incidents, investigations, and resolutions; improve processes where possible.
• Communicate timely updates to stakeholders during live trading scenarios.
