Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. seeks an Analyst for Extended Hours Trading to monitor overnight and extended hours activity, assess potential erroneous executions, and escalate issues to NYSE Regulation leadership.

The role supports a global trading environment with coordination across exchanges and venues. The candidate will review market news, corporate actions, halts, and Reg SCI considerations, while maintaining vigilance during non-standard hours and ensuring timely responses to emerging

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Coursework in accounting, finance, economics, business, or similar fields preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting/finance/trading or regulatory experience preferred.
• General knowledge of financial markets or securities industry preferred.
• Experience in triage, dispatch, customer support, or operations coordination beneficial but not required.
• Strong research, analytical, problem-solving skills; attention to detail and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor extended hours trading session communications and incidents.
• Assess urgency and determine escalation or resolution paths.
• Triage issues and coordinate with NYSE Regulation teams for investigation.
• Configure incident management and escalation sequencing weekly.
• Review global news and press releases for materiality and halts.
• Confirm start-of-session actions for corporate actions and halts.
• Identify cross-market trading halts and unusual activity.
• Investigate rumors and trading anomalies; evaluate surveillance alerts.
• Escalate trade nullifications where applicable.
• Assess outages as Reg SCI events and coordinate next steps.
• Coordinate with other exchanges and venues as needed.
• Contribute to special projects and ad hoc tasks.
