Job summary

Langham Logistics is seeking a Tracking and Tracing Team Lead for overnight hours with a primarily remote work model. The role guides the Overnight Tracking & Tracing team, monitors shipments in real time, resolves exceptions, and communicates with clients to maintain service levels.

Candidates should have leadership experience in transportation or 3PL, strong communication, and proficiency with TMS and data tools. On-site onboarding occurs at the Indianapolis HQ.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Background in transportation, freight forwarding, or 3PL.
• Experience with temperature-controlled or time-sensitive freight is a strong plus.
• Previous Team Lead or Senior Coordinator experience.
• Ability to anticipate bottlenecks and negotiate with carriers under tight timelines.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfort navigating TMS, email, portals, and spreadsheets with data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day tracking workflows and mentor team members.
• Oversee tracking across TMS and ensure shipments meet client SLAs.
• Identify transit anomalies and coordinate with Dispatch, Carriers, and CS to resolve.
• Maintain meticulous records for temperature-controlled shipments.
• Collaborate with Operations to refine processes and reduce errors.
• Manage a high-volume queue of emails and portal inquiries with solutions-first support.
