Job summary

Meijer is seeking a store leadership professional in Wisconsin to plan, direct, and supervise daily operations. You will mentor team members, hire staff, and implement strategies to improve customer service and sales efficiency.

You will focus on staffing, development, and maintaining Meijer standards while ensuring a safe, productive store environment and strong customer experiences through prime hours and effective product presentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store such as meat, bakery, produce and deli; also customer service and product flow experience is helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate to team members clearly and provide direction.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and address root cause issues.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information and use that information to make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members to improve customer service and sales.
• Implement strategies to optimize staffing, customer service, and store appearance.
• Maintain store appearance with focus on prime shopping hours, product presentation, and company standards.
• Ensure staffing, selection and hiring meet staffing needs.
• Promote succession planning by providing career paths and development needs.
